This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.
Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters.
They use cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others, and creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or respond to complex problems.
This advanced diploma is aimed at people working in senior and or executive leadership and management roles who have a sound theoretical knowledge of management practices, who have responsibilities for managing and leading other leaders, leading direction and strategy and who want to be more effective and engaging leaders of their organisations.
The Program is delivered over 12 months using our blended model of delivery using a combination of face-to-face / workshops (including specialised Masterclass Sessions), on-line learning, and self-paced project based learning activities.
There are 12 face-face sessions, delivered one day each month covering twelve (12) units of competency.
Each session is followed by self-directed learning including readings, negotiated workplace activities and work related projects, simulations and/or scenarios to embed your learning.
Participants in the BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management have up to 18 months to complete the program.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Entry to this qualification is limited to those who:
Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions).
OR
Have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise.
Articulation
Completion of this qualification will grant you access to articulation towards a Bachelor degree. More information here.
