PROGRAM OUTLINE:

Our structured 12 month Diploma of Project Management reflects the role of individuals who apply project management skills and knowledge. They may manage projects in a variety of contexts, across a number of industry sectors. They have project leadership and management roles and are responsible for achieving project objectives. They possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and use a range of specialised, technical and managerial competencies to initiate, plan, execute and evaluate their own work and/or the work of others.

 

There are no entry requirements into this qualification, however, examples of indicative job roles for candidates seeking entry based upon their vocational experience include:

This program requires good command of spoken English, the capacity and ability to interact with team members, customers and staff, to read, and the ability to write and communicate at the level needed to effectively communicate within business at a senior level.

You will have a working knowledge of project management principles and processes according to PMBOK and be equipped with an understanding of project management methodologies with the application of tools, techniques and methods. Successful completion of this program will result in the award of a BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management.

 

Participants who do not successfully complete the full program will be issued with a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for any unit/s of competency they have been deemed competent in.

Successful completion of all units of competency will result in the award of a nationally recognised Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways from the Foundation Skills Training Package. Participants who do not successfully complete the full program will be issued with a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for any of the unit/s of competency they have been deemed competent in.
